Raised on paint and thread
I learned needlework from my Mom and how to paint from my Pop, never imagining that those childhood afternoons would eventually lead me here. I think those early lessons are where my passion for needlepoint really began, bringing together two things I had grown up learning to love.
When I couldn't find the canvases I was dreaming of, I started painting my own — for me, then for friends, then for anyone in search of something special. The studio is named after my son, Sonny, a family name and my whole heart.

The art of hand-painting
Painting by hand is how needlepoint canvases began, and it's a tradition we're proud to keep alive. We spend hours painting it, and you'll spend hours stitching it — needlepoint was never meant to be rushed, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
